AI training for teams: role-based AI courses for your employees
Academl for teams is online AI training for employees on one team account. The owner creates a team and invites colleagues by email, and each person takes the track for their role: 6 tracks, 82 lessons. Lessons include hands-on tasks checked by AI and end with a certificate you can verify by code. The first 7 days need no card.

What team training includes
Your team gets a shared Academl account: the owner manages seats and invites, and employees learn on tracks built for their role. Members of an active team get full access to every course in the catalog, the AI tutor in lessons and certificates.
Role tracks: who takes what
Each employee starts with the track for their role. Time comes from lesson estimates; weeks assume 30 minutes a day, five days a week.
| Role | Track | What the employee will be able to do |
|---|---|---|
| The whole team, first step | AI from Scratch | Understands how chat assistants work, writes working prompts and uses ChatGPT for emails, document summaries and spreadsheets. |
| Managers and owners | AI for the Entrepreneur | Decides which company tasks to hand to AI: correspondence, contracts, finance, sales. Keeps a person reviewing where mistakes are costly. |
| Marketing and sales | AI for Marketing and Sales | Drafts copy and personal messages to clients with AI and connects services into automations with n8n, Make and Zapier. |
| Operations managers | AI Automation | Builds flows like 'form lead → spreadsheet', watches for breakage and cost, connects AI agents and tools through MCP. |
| Developers and tech leads | AI for the Developer | Works with Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, rolls AI assistants into the team's process, builds agents and connects tools through MCP. |
| Everyone who handles client data | AI Safety & Ethics | Knows which personal data must stay out of prompts, what prompt injection is, how to check for hallucinations and how to write a company AI policy. |

Bringing AI into business processes: where to start
Adoption usually starts with the manager: the AI for Business course (9 lessons) covers AI use cases by department, ROI, build vs buy vs API, a process automation map, business risks and a roadmap from quick wins to strategy. Meanwhile the team takes their role tracks, and the safety track sets the rules for working with data.
How long the training takes
A role track is 1–4 courses and about 3–4 hours of lessons by the lessons' own estimates. At 30 minutes a day, five days a week, that is usually 2 weeks. Everyone sets their own pace: progress saves on its own and any lesson can be reopened later.
Team pricing
Team access runs on the owner's account with Pro or the trial. Pro is $9 a month or $79 a year, and the first 7 days after sign-up need no card. Seats and a company invoice are arranged by email: online card payment is not connected yet, so we open access manually.
AI training for teams: FAQ
How do I train employees to use AI?
Create a team in Academl, invite employees by email and give each one the track for their role: AI from Scratch for everyone, plus tracks for managers, marketing and sales, operations and developers. Lessons are short, hands-on and checked by AI, and every course and track ends with a certificate.
How much does AI training for a business cost?
The first 7 days after sign-up give full access with no card. After that, team access runs on the owner's Pro account: $9 a month or $79 a year. Seats and a company invoice are arranged by email at info@academl.com.
How many employees can I add?
A new team has 5 seats, and the owner takes one of them. The owner changes the number of seats in the Team section. Pending invites also hold a seat until they are accepted or revoked.
How does an employee join the team?
The owner or an admin enters the employee's email, and an invite link goes to that address. The employee signs in to Academl with the same email and accepts the invite, and all courses open for them.
Do employees need coding skills?
Code appears only in the developer and automation tracks, which include tasks with code and service setup. AI from Scratch, the manager, marketing and sales tracks and the safety track need no programming.
What does the manager see?
The Team section shows members, their roles, seats used and pending invites. Certificates confirm the results: each one has a public verification page by code.
Where should a company start with AI adoption?
With a process map and rules for data. The AI for Business course gives you a process audit, ROI math and a roadmap, and the safety track sets the rules for prompts with client data. Then each department takes its role track and applies it to its own work.
